Event Sales Operation Manager – Mary Mae’s Bar | Brisbane Powerhouse

Salary: $80,000 starting + super + % of events revenue over budget (review after probation)

About the Role

As Event Sales Manager, you will be the main point of contact for clients from enquiry through to final execution. You will manage:

  • · Event enquiries, site inspections, contracting, invoicing, account management and payment register
  • · Client relationships including wedding tastings
  • · Final invoicing and payment follow-ups
  • · Internal events coordination and reporting
  • · Liaising with kitchen, bar, AV, and FOH teams for smooth execution
  • · Supporting the EOM in high-volume or overlapping events
  • · General reservations, inbound bookings, and picnic coordination


About You

  • · Minimum 2 years’ experience in event sales or operations
  • · Strong communication and relationship management skills
  • · Experience with events financials, contracts, and client follow-ups
  • · Confident in managing multiple events and operational priorities
  • · Familiarity with iVvy, SevenRooms, or similar systems preferred
  • · Valid RSA
